NHL Stars Help Raise $140K in Smashfest 2014 Charity Ping-Pong Tournament

Smashfest 2014 boasted 23 former and current NHL players as folks came together to play ping-pong and have a good time for this year’s charity event, and raised over $140k for the Smashfest causes along the way.

Stephane Veilleu won the singles title as the defending champion. He beat out Alexandre Burrows for the title. Daniel Radcliffe of “Harry Party” was in attendance at this year’s event making him perhaps the most surprising celebrity attendance.

NBC Sports remarks that:

The often-used phrase “good time for a good cause” is thrown out often, yet it seems appropriate for this event.
